GRR Review: Billionaire's Sub by M S Parker

Billionaire's sub used trope "innocent country girl falls for alpha billionaire kinkster" with a bit of a mystery and suspense but the end result is a barely lukewarm suspense, while the kinky romance is... meh.

Hanna Breckenridge moved across the country to help her sister's business in LA. As she tried to fit in, she discovered that her sister is a dom in the kinkdom, and was warned to stay away from Cross Phillip, who accidentally propositioned Hanna to be his sub. When a visit to alternative club resulted in Hanna being drugged and her sister missing, Hanna was rescued by Cross Phillips, who proceed to groom her to be his sub AND solve her sister's disappearance using his own resources and connections.

Frankly, Cross just comes across as creepy, taking advantage of Hanna's vulnerability, even though he's a very gentle dom. And due to using Hanna's POV, the mystery was "tell, not show", which is just... meh, as she's basically stuck at his place and gets reports on developments. That makes the overall novel quite boring, even as Hanna did discover that she likes being submissive.
