GRR Review Atlas (Billionaire Titans Book 1) by Alison Ryan

WARNING: This review contains many spoilers.

Atlas, while an interesting romantic suspense, ultimately overpromises and underdelivers by giving us two shallow main characters. Atlas is almost the superhuman... Not only he's ex-SEAL, he's also ex-assassin, rich as sin, and handsome as any man on the planet, not to mention smart and resourceful... EXCEPT when it matters! The girl, Piper, on the other hand, was ALMOST a sex doll... just begs to be (bleep)ed by Atlas every which way, hours at a time, and this happens multiple times. The action makes no sense.

Exhibit 1: Atlas hides out on the plane where the girl was stashed with the bad guys. He freed her, then send her away to hide with his knife, even though she doesn't know how to use a knife! He then faces off multiple attackers on the plane with no weapons and got his ass kicked, so both are captured.

Exhibit 2: Evil Mercs attack Atlas and Piper and their four guard dogs with tranquilizer guns for the dogs, instead of real bullets from suppressed weapons. Guess what killed the evil mercs later? Yep, you guessed it, the dogs.

Exhibit 3: After only a few months of alleged training, Piper, who's a tiny woman, several months pregnant, with a shotgun, defeated a merc (Bosnian commando) looking for her... While Atlas, the super-commando, was captured outside by the evil mercs, one of whom managed to get close enough to zap him with a Taser (tm)!

Sorry, many of these plot points are just NOT believable.
