WARNING: This review contains spoilers
Sealed with a Kiss started off as a Christmas wish and tried to pivot into a romantic suspense, but the suspense part was a total failure.
It started with a meet-cute between Rachel, the substitute teacher and John, the secret billionaire that may be under threat. While the pair can't be more different, they both love Bella, John's daughter.
The problem with this book is it tries to be romantic suspense, but the threat / suspense was either hyped or faked again and again. John invented something some evil corporation wanted. We're told again and again the enemies are dangerous, and will resort to anything, including possibly kidnapping, but again and again, nothing happened. The one time anything happened, it was actually a vast over-reaction / false alarm. In other words, we're teased over and over, and never received the reward. The romance was not bad, but the suspense part was severely lacking and ruined the book.
