GRR Reviews Mail Order Mishap: Book 1 Kansas Brides by Barbara Goss

For a mail-order bride story, Mail Order Mishap sure has twists upon twists.

Amber Wakefield traveled to Huner's Grove Kansas to marry a hotel owner, only to find her betrothed, Charles Turner, to be rather NOT attracted to her, but to her dowry. Charles' brother, Garrett Turner, was downright hostile to her. When Amber's chaperone in town fell ill, Amber was forced to stay in town, and learned Charles and Garrett were keeping a secret... and Amber found herself liking Garrett instead. When Charles sent Garrett pretending to be Charles to consummate the marriage, Amber was very tempted to let Garrett (pretending to be Charles) take advantage of her, but he got to the 2nd base, then ran off. What was the secret and why are they behaving this way?

The twist was, well, let's just say Charles has different leanings, while Garrett has the hots for Amber. So how's this triangle going to resolve? For that, read the novel.
