GRR Reviews Almost a Family: Second Chances Series by Donna Alward

Almost a Family is about a second chance for a first love. However, I didn't feel the magic between the FMC and the MMC.

Molly Schaeffer headed to her sister's home to take care of her sister and her niece after her sister got into a serious car accident. She didn't count on her ex, Jason, living next door. Six years ago they had their life planned, then she left him behind to chase her own dreams. She's now back, but it's just for a few weeks. But Jason knew it wasn't over between them... So, is this the last hurrah, or a second chance at something lasting?

I honestly didn't feel too much between this couple and while the standard push-pull is there, and the unresolved issues, there wasn't much else holding my interest.

Category: Contemporary

Primary Plot: Girl went back to hometown to help sister, found her ex living next door whom she still pined for despite leaving 6 years ago
