In Love With Lucy is a fast office romance between two people who denied their attraction to each other due to their working situation. Add some besties and it's partly rom-com.

Lucy Daniels is quitting her job after 3 years as an assistant with the young and ambitious CEO in Dallas: Christopher James Barden III. She is leaving the stuck-up boss behind and chasing her dream as a photographer, even though the boss is drool-worthy and salary is great. What Lucy didn't count on was Christ Barden had been denying himself because he doesn't date employees, and he wanted Lucy for a long time. Now that she's leaving, it's open season!

While the trope of hot boss is getting stale, this fast read (150 pages) managed to keep things moving at a good clip and didn't delve too much into the cliche.
