GRR Reviews The Accidental Cougar by Tiffany N. York
The Accidental Cougar is a mom falling for a younger man. The writing was fun and light and not too angst-y.
Nicole Woods is 41, and content with her life raising her son alone until she met Wil Blanco. When her son was away for six weeks to his father's place, her friends decided it is the perfect time for Nicole to have a summer fling... With Wil! But Nicole is a bit shy. However, Wil soon gets involved in her life, esp. when he became the big client in the ad agency she worked for. Nicole knew she had to keep her hands off... but the more time she spends with Wil, the more tempted she is to violate that policy... even though he's only 25...
While the writing is light-hearted and not too much shy and embarrassment here, one begs the question... How shy can a 41-year-old woman be, given her life experience as a single mother? Obviously, she'll have to grow out of that shell, and that's the fun of the journey. But other than the age thing and "customer" thing, there's not too much there stopping them from coming together.
