GRR Reviews Escorting the Billionaire (The Escort Collection) by Leigh James

Escorting the Billionaire is basically "Pretty Woman" written as melodrama. The woman's constantly in self-doormat mode. The guy's nice, but both of their mothers are douchebags, really. The characters are way too one-dimensional, except for the male main character.

For a quick recap... James Preston needed an arm candy that can take the pressure off him while attending his brother's wedding... He won't even take her clothes off. His heart had been dead for a decade when his sweetheart died after his family objected heavily... and he doesn't want a heartbreak. Audrey Reynolds needed the money to keep her brother in his group home... and James's job will make her a LOT of money for two weeks' simple work. While she probably would enjoy being in James' bed, she's fine in not getting any. However, when her mother wanted to squeeze money out of her, and HIS mother figured Audrey wasn't someone on her approved list that she can control, both started their machinations to ruin Audrey's day, even as Audrey and James fell for each other... James had never felt that way toward another woman... until Audrey, and he'll do anything to protect her, but she is the kind of people who refused all help... because she is... really a whore, and not good enough for him... But he's not taking no for an answer.

How does a high-class escort have such low self-esteem? Heck, she even hired herself out when she's not getting any action. But no, everyone just leans on her for money and using her one way or another. The ONLY ONE who wants her for who she is... Is her client James. WTF? Sorry, but love is a two-way street. The guy doesn't have problems except for douchey family. That is a ONE-way relationship.
