Naked Sunset was an interesting tale of love interrupted. However, the prose feels very... "detached", as if there's more description than action.
Kinsey is an young artist who dreams of a man that she can totally dedicate herself to besides her art. She has a special painting of her, naked in the sunset, just for him, if he'll ever come into her life. Then one day, he came. The man was sailing out on the water, in a one-person boat, then he saw her, and came ashore. His name is Tanner, and he was totally right for her, and she was totally smitten. Then fate tore them apart and they didn't even had a chance to learn each other's surnames. Four years later, a chance encounter would bring them back together again...
The events are just too... soap-opera worthy twists that just feels so... melo-dramatic. And it's basically insta-lust where the moment their eyes met it was all over. Any additional twists beyond that was just extra icing on top of icing... which is why I said it felt melo-dramatic. It just feels... "detached".
