GRR Reviews Three Days of Rain by Christine Hughes
Three Days of Rain is is a contemporary romance that broke the rules: there is no happy ending. Not even a happy for now ending. It's a tragedy.
Jacob Morgan had been living in the past of incredible grief and betrayal by his wife Madison for two full years. Only by meeting the visiting girl, Lily Burns, made him feel somewhat normal, so he can love again. But just as Jake was revealing it all to Lily, Madison is back in town... Even as Lily learned a news that will change their relationship forever...
I am NOT going to spoil the ending, as I believe you should read it and experience it for yourself. You'll cry and maybe even curse the author to writing such a sad tale, but your emotions will be put through the wringer, as you came to understand the characters, and why they did what they did, and perhaps even sympathize a little, even for Madison.
Category: Contemporary
Primary Plot: Man betrayed by his wife fell for the new girl in town. But now his wife is back, even as the new girl learned his secret...
