Return to Silver Bay is a contemporary romance that was sweet but contains several interesting twists. My only nitpick would be the story was a little unbalanced, with most of the concentration on the FMC, leaving not much for the MMC to do.
To recap, Maggie Mitchell came home to Silver Bay to bury her father and settle her past, as she originally left without saying goodbye. She did not want to face Josh Harden, the man who still has her heart. As Maggie cleaned up the home and prep it for sale, she found letters that suggest she may have been adopted, which would explain why her father was never nice to her. But as she dug into her past, will she be prepared to learn the truth?
The book has quite a few characters, but they all play an integral part of the tale. As long as you keep the characters straight, the story makes for a couple interesting twists and turns, with Josh there to lend her support along the way. However, this also means most of the attention and struggle is on Maggie, with Josh basically there to lend a shoulder, and not much more. Still, I don't think this detracted too much from the rating. Consider this rating really 4.5/5
