GRR Reviews Falling Fast (DEA FAST Series Book 1) by Kaylea Cross

Falling Fast by Kaylea Cross is a competent romantic suspense featuring some undercover work by law enforcement people who don't usually work UC.

Charlie Colebrook is a computer analyst who grew up with a bunch of marine brothers, now working with the DEA. She had some chemistry with a fellow DEA agent Jamie Rodriguez, but Jamie broke it off after realizing she's his best friend's sister... and he doesn't want FWB or part-time. When Charlie was asked by her boss to work undercover to infiltrate a money launderer for a drug cartel, Carlie jumped at the chance, even if they are also assigning Jamie as her bodyguard. However, when her cover was blown, it will be up to the DEA FAST team and Jamie to keep them both alive...

The end was a bit too... Hollywood-ish twist, which I will not spoil. Characters seem to be well-rounded and there are no obvious technical inaccuracies. All in all, definitely above-average romantic suspense title. Rather enjoyed the book.
