The Movie Star's Red Hot Holiday Fling is about fling to a thing, and about secrets and trust, but the secrets kept seems to be a bit low key to cause the volcanic reaction.
Jessie is a former marine that was severely injured by an IED and discharged. She wanted to qualify for the local fire department, and that requires a grueling physical test... which she's determined to pass despite pain and suffering despite her injury... and not ogle the hot action movie god cohabitating her gym. Blake has both muscles and brains, not that Hollywood ever want to see the brains. He wanted to write and direct, and a script about his action hero wounded and had to come home and do PT may be the ticket for him to go behind the camera... and he needed to pick Jessie's brain to make it authentic. But a date with Jessie AND helping her train resulted in major fireworks... which lead to some major heat between the sheets. But when the training's over... is that the end of their relationship?
The background info and character growth is definitely there... Originally I thought it merely average, but after reconsideration this is above average for a novella.
