GRR Reviews Dirty Deals by Michelle A. Valentine

I have problems finishing the book Dirty Deals that I basically quit at 25% point. The FMC's personality made ZERO sense, and allowed lust to cloud her judgment even as she constantly reminded herself her family legacy is at stake.

Alexander King inherited billions and made even more. He has so much money, he no longer trusted women, who all wanted to tame him. He just gets off on escorts, and never the same one twice. But his new assistant, Margo, he needed to keep around. He was taking over her father's business, and her father insisted that she get a job as a part of the negotiations. But what Alexander really wanted to do was to have lots of Steamy sex with Margo... // Margo knew she's in enemy territory. And unless she can sabotage the deal King is making, her family legacy will be chopped up and sold off in pieces. Being assigned as PA to King himself is torture, as King taunted her with his alphaness, and she was sure King knew of her plans... Keep your enemies closer and all that. But Margo can't deny that King can be a powerful lover and that passion ignited in Las Vegas, the city of sins...

This plot and motivation make no f***ing sense. Margo basically succumbed to lust in Vegas and her brain was so fogged she didn't object when he started bondage play without any pre-negotiation. It's as she was just playing "hard to get" just to cocktease him in all the bits before then. This is NOT romantic, it's CLICHE BDSM trope, a guy so hot he melted panties and the woman will do ANYTHING to get that orgasm. It's really dumb. So far, the intrigue was barely there.

And this is where I stopped reading.
