GRR Reviews Adler James by Christa Wick

Adler James Turk had just buried his sister and his father not long ago. Arriving at his sister's house (that she shared with her husband) and found a different woman there in the kitchen wearing her clothing was a total shock... Moreover, she's a curvy beauty that that quickly grabbed a knife and threatened her instead of running away screaming piqued his interest, and he can't stop thinking about her... // Sage arrived in the town of Willow Gap, Montana after a desperate call from her estranged brother. It took her several days to track down enough information to ascertain the town's location, but the airline had lost all her luggage in transit after three transfers. Now with Adler looking at her like a stranger, she realized that her brother had not mentioned her AT ALL... She's his "dirty little secret." However, there is a reason why both of them are mum about their origins... and as Adler came to know Sage better, he wonders about a future with her...

While the secrets are pretty cool, like a mystery to unwrap, the attraction didn't quite work for me. It's pretty much insta-love held back by a ton of secrets.

Category: Contemporary Western

Primary Plot: Man finds woman in his dead sister's home, claiming to be his sister-in-law... stranger his dead brother-in-law never mentioned her... So what secrets are both of them hiding?

Overall Rating: 3/5
