GRR Reviews The Fortune Hunter by Jasmine Haynes
The Fortune Hunter is a marriage of convenience novel that managed to incorporate a lot of sex. It felt more like a mail order bride novel.
Faith Castle wanted a family but can't find a matching guy for her family's prestige or fortune. Connor Kingston wanted to be CEO, but he came from a poor background. The two made a deal: they'll get married for convenience only. He'll have lots of sex with her and make a family with her. She, in turn, will convince her father to eventually promote Connor to CEO (Connor's already VP, so he's got the chops). When Faith demanded fidelity, Connor proposed that Faith be a bit more adventurous in their bedroom activities, but Faith has no... faith in her ability to perform in the bedroom. But Connor will gladly teach her to let go of her inhibitions... but is there love?
This is an "erotic" marriage of convenience romance, kinda weird mix. On the other hand, Connor seems to be a bit too much of a straight-shooter, who is shockingly honest about his ambitions for a businessman. He seems to be also a bit too confident about how good Faith and he can be together. As for whether that is love... well, that's a different question, or is it really? I like it overall as it's really a different twist, sorta mail-order husband, albeit, self-recommended.
