GRR Reviews Accidental Agent (River's End) by Amelia C. Adams

Liz is waitressing at Kelsey's Kafe at River's End to make ends meet while hoping her books get published. When a mysterious strange appeared in town, her imagination runs wild on the new guy, but his story may be even stranger... // Jack Saunders was burned out by his FBI job in LA after losing his partner. His boss ordered him to take a vacation, and he just drove and drove, and ended up at River's end. When he overheard a suspicious conversation, his agent senses went on alert: there's something about this curvey cute blonde waitress that bears further investigation...

This book gave me a bit of a mixed feeling. On the one hand, it's cute and funny, but at about the mid-point the mood changed to a somber one when Jack was recalled to LA finish his human trafficking case. It did switch back to cute later for the HEA though. However, something it didn't quite feel right.

Category: Contemporary

Primary Plot: Cute, fun, but not much else of two different worlds people meet by chance
