GRR Reviews The Southern Bride (Driftwood Bay) by Lenora Worth

The Southern Bride can be retitled "Baby gimme one more chance", and it's all about pride (before the fall and all that).

Melissa is not over Judson, a man she had a tempestuous relationship with since they were children. They had been together, apart, together, apart... you get the idea. Melissa is in a mixed mood attending her sister's wedding when Judson showed up... wanting one last chance... After she told him they were off for good this time a while back. Can she give him one more chance to hurt her, or is he really a changed man? // Judson lost his purpose in life... rodeo, when he fell off a bull and shattered his leg and had to hang up his spurs. He will do anything to win back Melissa's love, not that he had that much more to lose. But is he too late?

Nothing too interesting there. Is there much to do for a cowboy who can't ride bulls anymore? Sure, coming back to her after he no longer has a career to worry about. Ahem.

Category: Contemporary / Western

Primary Plot: Ex-rodeo cowboy goes back to his woman begging for one more chance... should she give it to him?

Overall Rating: 3/5

NOTE: Tropes are now in the "Labels" below.
