GRR Reviews Wyoming Heather by DeAnn Smallwood
Heather lives along on a Wyoming ranch left to her by her parents. She feeds the livestock, does animal doctoring, and basically manages to get by all alone by herself. Her ranch is a bit short on water, so she diverted some water from a nearby river that runs through a neighboring ranch, with an abandoned cabin and a lone grave. Then one day, owner of that ranch returned... // Whip hoped to die that day when a bandit not only stole his horse but also shot dead his wife and left him for dead. He survived, and he vowed revenge. He joined the Rangers and chased down outlaws all over the country... but the one he was looking for was never found. Five years later, he's back at his ranch, only to find a woman 'stealing' his water. They reached a reluctant truce, as they need each other to be at least friendly. But as they got into more and more adventures, including puppies, two new orphans that sort of adopted Whip, Whip's Lakota Indian brother, and more, they got to know each other a lot better. But someone is stalking them... waiting...
Adventure is excellent, but romance is a bit of meh. Overall, 4/5
