GRR Reviews Finding Destiny (Destiny series) by Christa Simpson

Finding Destiny is a short romance (only 120 or so pages) that seems to be missing a few story beats and there wasn't much of a grand gesture.

Skylar was supposed to have a bit of guy time with the guys at the cabin. They were surprised to find three beautiful ladies trudging through the snow (their SUV broke down). With a snowstorm closing in, the ladies were invited back to their cabin, and Skylar found himself drawn to Destiny, who's supposed to be with her friends at a winter spa retreat. But Desitny and Skylar seem totally compatible. When tragedy struck, can their romance ever go anywhere?

I guess the "tragedy" (which I won't spoil) was supposed to be the darkest hour? It's more like insta-lust interrupted, and they have to get their mojo back or something. It just feels horribly shallow and vacuous.
