GRR Reviews A Girl Like Her by Talia Hibbert
Evan finished his military service and made Ravenswood, a quiet small town, his new home, only to find his neighbor, the rude, awkward, but beautiful Ruth, at the center of town's rumor mill for ages. EVERYBODY warned him off her, saying she's "bad news"... but no one will tell him WHY. And the more she pushed him away, the more he wanted to woo her... and all her secrets...
I don't know if the "autistic" person is accurate, as every aspie is different. It sounds reasonable enough. I can see how a small town can turn on someone like that. I also know this is supposed to be a BWWM (black woman, white man) romance, but once you get into the story, you kinda forget the race angle completely. They're just two people in love against a town's prejudice.
