Shaelyn left New Orleans after getting her heart stomped on, and only her grandma's declining health brought her back to town... Eh... the darkest hour was kinda lame, IMHO. Basically, the family member requesting help was a kid who never knew his father, and Shaelyn's an aunt of his. His father turned out to be a suspected murderer and Brady, being a homicide detective investigating the same case, can't say anything. The two didn't really tie together, and obviously, Shae ended up liking Brady despite the "betrayal".
