GRR Reviews Home Game by Odette Stone

Ryan was traded to the Vancouver Wolves hockey team, and the whole team gave him the cold shoulder. When he's desperately trying to sort his receipts in a coffee shop (despite being a klutz on the laptop) a punk rock girl Zoey helped him... Except she's homeless and helping him made her ineligible for 8PM check-in. Ryan put her up for the night, but she suspects foul intentions due to her experiences. When she later got mugged and lost everything, Ryan put her up again, intending to help her get back on her feet. They slowly fell for each other, but Ryan's new PA is openly hostile, while Zoey had to reveal what sent her to the streets in the first place... and her menacer is back...

Pretty good push-pull, as her tough-girl act was... not an act, and his nice guy persona was not an act either, yet opposites attract. I do have a problem with someone hunting her down from YEARS ago.  And Ryan was set up to be a nice guy underdog, leaving him not much of a character arc.
