GRR Reviews Hotshot Doc by R.S. Grey

Bailey lives modestly despite making a good living as a surgical tech, with all her money going to her mom (who suffers from early onset Alzheimer's) in an assisted living facility and raising her sister. When her doctor decided to retire, the only other doctor hiring is Dr. Matt Russel, who's known to send grown male surgical techs into nervous breakdowns. But the more Bailey come to know about Dr. Russel, the more she saw past his prickly exterior. And Matt is definitely a hotshot... He's handsome, but he schedules 3 surgeries a week, and these are complicated spinal surgeries that last 8-9 hours each. Why does he work so hard? Can Bailey get Matt to loosen up a little? Can they live with each other?

Very good slow burn, but the back and forth pacing seems to be slightly off, and the story took a while to find its rhythm.
