Tessa has one last chance to keep her job as a reporter... Find out what is local billionaire Beckett Stone doing... probably something illegal as he's seen with ex-cons. Tessa didn't like rich people... they are usually ***holes... Like two ***holes that left her and her sister behind. When Beckett mistook her for a personal chef he hired, she got the perfect way in... And that's when she learned he's nothing like she imagined... // Beckett is an intensely private person and this project is very personal... So he's not going to say anything except to the essential people. And this project is something he's doing for his family. He was surprised by how attractive the personal chef, Tessa, is. (Wait, why does the application say Jamie?) and wanted to woo her. But she's keeping her distance...
Deeper than it first appears, Tessa is the kind of ethical reporter that'd give up on a story rather than violate privacy or trust. The problem I have is with her boss. It seems her boss is an unreasonable tyrant with an agenda, instead of a proper newspaper editor. And Beckett rather stay quiet than explain things to her when she got the wrong impression. Somehow, both felt a bit unreasonable.
