GRR Reviews Tumble by Adriana Locke

Neely quit her job as a sports writer when her boss stole her entire idea and presentation and presented it as his own. She went home to sulk, except she also ran into Dane, the guy who stole then broke her heart. // Dane and Neely were high school sweethearts, but when Neely have a college scholarship, Dane pre-emptively broke up with her to set her free to pursue her dreams. Then he screwed up with the worst type of betrayal, making sure she'd never come back... Until a decade later. // Dane and Neely meet again, as they are clearly not over each other. But Dane's now a single father, and Neely soon has a new job she had to go back to the city for. Does Neely even want to be a step-mom to get HEA with Dane?

At the first read-through I thought the push-pull was quite good, but then I realized Neely turned out to be a total doormat. She basically abandoned ALL her goals (get her own magazine, write inspirational articles) and adopted all of his (need a stepmom for daughter and her in his bed), because she decided the guy who hurt her should be forgiven and loved, albeit, the reasons are lacking.  2.5/5
