GRR Reviews The Ever After Groom by Carly Morgan

Nate, offensive tackle for the (fictional) Denver Storm football team, is attending masquerade ball for charity by owner's orders. He asked the prettiest woman at the ball for a dance, only to realize that was his ex-wife Hazel. Nate and Hazel divorced when their young son died from cancer before his 1st birthday, and the loss tore them apart. When Hazel found her sister was knocked unconscious back in Montana, Nate changed his plans and flew with Hazel to Montana, and it's clear they are not over each other. But each believes he/she is not worthy of the other. As Nate and Hazel investigate the attack, it's clear there's a conspiracy in town... Someone has been systemically driving away existing owners and buying up downtown...  But who? And will Nate and Hazel be the next victim?

Not bad, but not must-read either. Ticks all the right places, but nothing extraordinary.
