GRR Reviews Beauty and the Bitch by Ginger Voight

Sofie Vincent had to bury her past to become the most successful TV producer in Hollywood. Her show had been bringing in viewers like mad, and that's because her "bitch" demeanor somehow brings out the best... Because if you managed to cross her, even by accident, she will utterly DESTROY you.  Until she ran into the one person she could not control... // Hospice nurse Fletcher just wanted to make one of his patients, Rose, happy. She kept looking for "Pudgie", her daughter, and yes, Rose is dying. Fletcher just wanted to reunite them before it's too late. But Sofie does NOT want her past revealed, even by a do-gooder like Fletcher. First she destroyed him by causing him to be fired (it's technically a HIPAA privacy violation), then she "hired" him and bound him to an NDA as her "assistant". But Fletcher is not ready to give up. // As far as Sofie's concerned, Rose cannot be forgiven. Rose wrote a series of children's books based on Sofie's childhood mishaps and failures. Rose believed her mother destroyed her self-esteem by publicizing her faults. But Fletcher is there to make sure she gets a different view, and maybe, turn Sofie back into a human being... Before it's too late to make amends.

Love the tale... even though it's basically one of those "hold a forever grudge, only to have an epiphany" plot. It's REALLY well polished, and Fletcher here is a complex character and almost a perfect match to Sofie. 5/5
