GRR Reviews Force of Nature by S L Scott

Bennett Everest, one of the three Everest brothers, is trying to close a deal by chasing down the wayward daughter of the owner of a company he's trying to acquire. He found her in Paris, but Winter is nothing like he imagined. Instead of a feisty rebellious woman, he got a slightly-scared mature wistful woman. And they fell for each other. Soon, they are embroiled in a conspiracy that threatens to envelop them both... Where not even family can be trusted...

Okay, some parts of this are quite good, but the final confrontation requires a TSTL moment as a setup. It's OBVIOUS that the box was a trap, and Winter went ahead and stepped on it, even though there was NO PROOF there's anything of value in the box. Also, how did they nab her from TWO guys who was supposed to be right next to her in the first place? That scene still doesn't make sense.

The conspiracy and grand plan works. The little details... do not.
