GRR Reviews No Love Left Behind by Jenni M Rose

Mercedes was once a rich and entitled brat... The world was her plaything, men or women. Until one insane moment of rage that changed her life forever. Seven years and one felony prison sentence later, "Sadie" was born. Sadie just wanted to live in the country with her friendly neighbors, her dogs, and stay far away from the limelight at Boston, where she was told she does NOT belong, by none other than her own father. But her brother has other plans. // When Lincoln's big dog destroyed his home again, he needed help fast. And it turns out, "Sadie" has a reputation as a dog whisperer. But Linc was also Sadie's childhood crush, and definitely a part of her "old life" in Boston... But Linc was persistent, the dog eager to please, and Sadie can finally see that Linc sees her as she is, not as she was. But there was a nemesis from her past, who believe she hadn't paid enough for her misdeed, and will do ANYTHING to keep tormenting her... until she breaks.

Oh, nice. The dog scenes are perfect, and so was the darkest hour / total heartbreak. Linc was perhaps, a little too perfect, and Sadie has a TSTL moment where she believes TALKING with her nemesis can resolve anything. But other than these minor quibbles, this is an excellent book. 4.5/5
