Mark is 42 and down and out. His health is failing fast. His fiancee had left him, and his career is all but gone. And he has to decide soon whether he wanted palliative care... Or surgery and radiation that *may* save him, or leave him even worse. Trying to put off his decision, he left the doctor's office, and wandered into an unfamiliar part of London, and encountered Karen, a doctor... and terminal cancer patient... With not much life left to lose, and similar circumstances, they decided to join forces... Do 100 days of crazy... A trip around the world, a bucket list to fulfill... Together.
NOTE: There is no happy ending in this novel. But there is a twist of sorts. I can't spoil it. Let's just say you'll be shedding tears by the end. it's a tearjerker. And yes, it is a romance, as it's all about love... not just life, but of each other, and self. 5/5
