Carrie is a California girl, and while down and out, she had a one-night stand with a gorgeous guy she was sharing a hotel suite with. Several days later, on an interview, did she find that her one-night beau was none other than her CEO boss, Trevor. She's even more surprised he hired her to be his personal publicist. She's determined to keep her professional and personal lives separate, but he obviously wants her back in his bed. Can they have an HEA, or will their jobs tear them apart?
I honestly don't feel much chemistry between them two. Sure, that one-night stand was hot, but the rest? Trying to mix business and pleasure? Not really working for me. And the darkest hour is the cliche "how could you betray me, don't bother to explain it" moment. 2.5/5

GRR Reviews Sweet for You: A Billionaire Romance by Harper Ashe
Sweet for You was billed as a billionaire romance but the chemistry between the two were a bit lacking, with Stephan not as alpha as he seems.
Abby has a crush on the gourmet tycoon Stephen Blake of Blake Foods. When she chanced upon a food tester position at Blake Foods, for their new diet snack line, she found that Stephen Blake is NOT like the man he imagined... but not as shallow as she had feared. Stephen Blake is desperate to make his new snack line a success, and when Abby's opinions are precise and to the point, he hired her on the spot to a long-term position (for a year!) and almost admitted to himself that he also has the hots for this sassy BBW. But will misunderstandings drive them apart before they finish their recipe for love?
The book is short, at just over 100 pages, and I don't expect a treatise on Stephen Blake, but there just doesn't seem to be much personality in him. He's a terror in the boardroom and does not tolerate dissension, but in other instances he's sweet toward Abby, and very protective. Not much else though.
