GRR Reviews The Passionate One by Jeanette Lewis

Erin started the "Billionaire Bride Pact"... the group of girls vowed at summer camp to not settle for anyone less than a billionaire. As an up-and-coming actress with sights set on Broadway, Erin has no time for her best platonic friend Matt. Matt, desperate to get out of the friend zone before she leaves, has a plan this time. Unfortunately for Matt, Erin's breakout performance and a new co-star in the form of billionaire actor playboy Brennan Avery put a damper in his plans... How can Matt show Erin that fame and fortune are not all she seeks?

A bit too slow to start, I do like the triangle aspect, as Brennan is everything that Matt is not, and for a little while, you do wonder how can he pull it off. But it's really about Erin realizing her dreams can include the right guy.

GRR Reviews The Hopeful One by Jeanette Lewis

Darrin married Nikki, and it was a great match. They were in love, he's rich and growing richer with his company, and she has a large trust fund as security. But when she miscarried, and his company seems to be in trouble, their happily ever after seems to be a distant memory. Can they work through their differences... Or will this be the end of their fairy tale?

Ah, on the rocks romance, hard to get right, and this one, while short, is right on the dot. Both got issues, both are pushing each other's buttons (not quite consciously), and both will have to give to gain. Nicely done.

GRR Reviews The Lucky Billionaire by Jeanette Lewis

Ty won over a billion bucks in the lottery. He knew most winners simply squander the wealth. He decided to help his sister stay clear of the creepy ex by buying him off, then fund his own land use rights foundation in Idaho, his home state. But after a disastrous TV interview in LA, it's clear he needed help... and that brought him to image consultant Holland. // Holland can see Ty needs serious help, and since her agenda is free, she temporarily moved to Ty's hometown to help him get his foundation off the ground. It'll be quick... She has a life, and sorta boyfriend in LA. Until someone burned down the foundation's first office. Who'd want to hurt Ty? And why does she get goosebumps (the good kind) around Ty?

This is a good spin on the theme, though the perp is a bit too obvious, due to lack of other suspects. Still, the polish is good. I don't get the butthurt feel from Ty after Holland's revelation about her BF though.
