GRR Reviews A Best Friend's Proposal by Layla Holt

Anesthesiologist Josh makes a good living, but being a single father is wearing him down when his wife left them to chase her own love. Five-year-old Noah is acting out in school, and it seems he does need a female in his life... And he does have one... platonic best friend and ER nurse Emma. So his plan was to ask her to be his fake fiancee. And it seems she liked the idea too. It also happens that she needed a place to stay when her lease expired, and he has a guest room. It's all for Noah's sake... right?

Ah, the plot has been done before, but this has a good polish. 4/5

GRR Reviews A Celebrity Proposal by Layla Holt

Tanner is a billionaire CEO who enjoys an annual "break" for a month, living in his hometown and minding the family store so his parents can go on their yearly vacation. It's supposed to be uneventful, and his town knows how to protect him. He didn't anticipate wanting to help the blonde bombshell, Erika, who's the town's kindergarten teacher... But when his attempt to help by pretending to be her fiancee ended up with her picture (and his) in tabloids, and paparazzi appeared in town chasing them, Erika was stunned. She valued her anonymity, preferring to deal with her own loss her own way. But Tanner is too handsome and nice of a guy to pass up, even though he's out of her league. So is the romance real, or just fake?

I honestly didn't feel much of a connection, as the romance started as "just helping out" and became an UNINTENTIONAL "fake engagement" which THEN turned into real love?!  It just feels... lackadaisical. It's sweet, but not much else. 2.5/5

GRR Reviews A Boss's Proposal by Layla Holt

Isla had to leave her previous job because she was a hotel's chef and fell for the owner's son, only to discover he's a two-timing bastard. When she found a temporary personal chef position, she didn't ask. Turns out, it's for billionaire Zeke. He's handsome and kind. Then he made the most absurd proposal... // When Zeke needed a fake girlfriend to make his grandma happy for the holidays, the only eligible woman around was Isla... his chef. She's sweet, pretty, and isn't after his money. It'd be perfect... Except for her secret...

Sweet, but not much else.
