It's clear that they share some tremendous chemistry, but is Klaus, aka Dr. Christmas, ready to move on from his tragedy? Or will Clara always be second place to a ghost?

Short, but quite emotional. 4.5/5

Eve lives alone at the edge of civilization... Okay, Alaska. Then Adam fell from the sky on Santa's Sleigh. No, not a joke. That's the name of his plane, really. So she rescued him, and they got snowed in, of course. He cracks a lot of Adam and Eve jokes. And he's handsome. And she's lonely and willing...   And it's almost Christmas. How can it go wrong?

At under 150 pages, it's steamy Holiday romance. Good setup, if a bit corny from the beginning. Though the gradual revelation was used very nicely. 4.5/5

When Sven professed feelings for Mary, will Mary accept? When her family want her to visit, and bring Sebastian, will Mary try to pass off Sven as Sebastian?

Good holiday rom-com that started with a likable heroine and took off from there, with lots of escalation. Best followed with the next volume, as the events overlap. 5/5

Madison is a top-notch real estate agent, but suffering from a broken heart. Her boyfriend is going back to his first love. So when she got a call to meet with the woman with a business proposition, she's of mixed emotions. Turns out, she's being 'tested' for the biggest real estate deal of her life... a chance to sell a VERY FAMOUS St. Vincent mansion, owned by a VERY mysterious client who demanded a signing of NDA before she can even set foot on the island. She passed with flying colors, and the client is definitely mysterious and swoon-worthy. But she's just his realtor, even as she finally realized who he really is...

Angst-y, mysterious, but is that conducive to love? There's only so much one can do with 'enigmatic'. I just didn't feel much longing and wanting here. 3.5/5

Cate is a single mom who got fired just before Christmas. Going on blind dates with zero chemistry didn't help. When her sister decided to take her along to a Jamaican vacation, she can't really refuse esp. when the child would be with the father at camp. Running into Derek in Jamaica, who rescued her from that bad blind date back in the US, was a pleasant surprise... Until he made a shocking proposal... // Derek is the heir apparent to a restaurant empire, but his stern father wants him to get married ASAP... Or he'll be disowned and restaurants given to a cousin to run instead. Derek can only think of finding a fake fiancee, and after meeting Cate in several locations, it's clear fate is telling him that she's the one. But Cate's relatively poor, unemployed, and single mom... and Derek's father quickly dismissed her as a golddigger, even as Derek and Cate fell for each other. Can their relationship survive?

These threats never really make sense, and serves as a 'weird will'. The part about "Your sweat and tears and years you put into the business means NOTHING unless you get married and produce a child" always sounds so stupid and unreasonable. This book didn't do much to explain the why, and thus didn't deviate much from the formula.
