GRR Review: Virtuous by M. S. Force

Virtuous by M. S. Force is a contemporary romance about a plain woman trying to live a quiet life while hiding a secret, who by chance fell in love with a Hollywood celebrity, but the secrets they kept will come back to haunt each other. It is an emotional journey, and the author, who also goes by a slightly different pseudonym, has the ability to polish up the details to a sizzling romance.

A plain but beautiful teacher Natalie Brandt had a chance encounter with Flynn Godfrey, the most eligible bachelor in Hollywood. That paved the way to a torrid romance. However, Natalie is hiding a deep dark secret that she is hiding from everyone, most of all herself. She had sworn off sex before marriage. Flynn Godfrey is not without his own secrets, and he is a mega movie star, and can have almost any woman he wants... But somehow that chance encounter with Natalie in the park (then her dog bit him!!!!) left a mark on his heart, and he set out to woo her, but can such a romance work?
The author managed to humanize the characters without resorting to stereotypes like the manwhore playboy or meek ingenue. Flynn is a playboy, but not a manwhore, yet he's hiding a few secrets of his own, like the club Quantum, where he occasionally indulges in... baser instincts. But he has a loving family and is not brooding. And Natalie... is not a virgin and not weak. Let's just say her experiences had not been... pleasant, but who can resist the charm of a Hollywood superstar?  The book continues in the series, where you get to meet Flynn's other friends... and the tale of Flynn and Natalie will continue... as this book ends in a cliffhanger.

Category: Contemporary ROmance

Primary Plot: Ingenue falls for Superstar, both hiding secrets

NOTE: Ends in cliffhanger, story continues for 2 more volumes

TL;DR: Plain but pretty teacher with a hidden past slowly falls for Hollywood superstar after meetcute in the park

Overall Rating: 4/5
