GRR Reviews His Tempting Bride (BBW Western) by Jenn Roseton

His Tempting Bride is a romance novella between Gage, a ranch owner in Montana, and Heather, an event planner in New York. The romance between the two and the affection seems genuine. The problem is there is really NOTHING keeping them apart aside from her own inadequacy issues i.e. "How can he want me? I am so unworthy!" (not exact words)

To recap, Heather was working in a New York hotel as an event planner when she had to sub for front desk duty, and met Gage Coltson a guest. Heather is a BBW and basically figured that no man would be interested in her. Gage was checking in and lost his wallet, and Heather impulsively trusted Gage to pay for his hotel room herself and let him check in, trusting him to pay her back later. Next day he paid her back and took her out for a memorable drinks and dinner, and declared his intention to woo her, but he was going so slow she wasn't sure. Then he invited her to visit his ranch in Montana (that he shared with his 6 brothers) for a two-week vacation and she went there, and he was still going so slow she wasn't quite sure. it didn't help when her sister showed up with her boyfriend... Turns out they were distant in-laws (back in their grandpa's generation) and sorta enemies each believing the other had wrong them. More than a week passed before he finally got her into his bed, as they keep getting interrupted. Now Heather needs to make a choice: go back to New York and settle back into her life... or take a chance on Gage and live in Montana?

As explained before, the family issues were resolved in merely a few pages. There wasn't really much tension in the whole thing. Pretty "cozy" romance.
