GRR Reviews No Direction Home (Sweet Home Colorado) by Jude Willhoff

No Direction Home is an interesting novel where two people have to see through each other's pains and facades built up to cope with the pain.

Grace lost everything and is starting over. Her health was saved by a new pain management device, but she is weak and often needs assistance. Her husband left her for another woman. When Grace heard her rich grandma took on an ex-con as her ranch foreman she saw red and moved home to save her grandma... but Seth was nothing like she imagined... // Seth was convicted of a crime he did not commit and lost his wife and daughter. He took on the job of foreman on the Cactus Rose Ranch in Cedar Falls Colorado to find himself, and Grace's arrival threw that into chaos. But Grandma is determined to pair them together... for both need a second chance at life... and love.

Nice and sweet, even as the trope starts with both misunderstanding the other, but soon realized both are dealing with mere facades, but how to breach the topic? The extra polish and deeper characters push this novel above merely mediocre.

Category: Contemporary

Primary Plot: Physically frail but recovering woman found the "ex-con" managing her grandma's ranch to be a lot more than she suspected...

Overall Rating: 4/5

NOTE: Tropes are now in the "Labels" below.
