GRR Reviews The Blindsided Groom by Heather Horrocks

Knox Reid, a defensive lineman, is determined to protect his family, on and off the field. His brother, already suffering from neural degeneration after a career as NFLer, is determined to go through an experimental therapy that promises miraculous results in merely two weeks and is administered by a pretty-face therapist by the name of Amy. Knox can only see SCAM written all over it, so he's determined to expose the scam, by making an enemy of Amy... // Amy dedicated her life into this cutting edge therapy to help people. When circumstances forced them to move to a secluded cabin, and the patient's wife showed up, Knox and Amy saved the day (and marriage) by pretending to be lovers. And soon, Amy sees past Knox's gruff exterior, and his kiss made her swoon. But Knox's past, in the form of a reporter digging for a hatchet piece, came back to haunt him...

Knox is way too judgemental, but the motivation seems good enough. I do have a problem with the evil reporter though. It doesn't make sense and was introduced way too late to be a proper antagonist.
