Alana fainted at a gas station in Arizona, after fleeing her evil boyfriend Jimbo, who got her pregnant, then beat her for daring to "interfere" in his criminal ways. When he told her she can't keep the baby, it's time to flee the city. Alana was rescued at the station by Lawson, a local cowboy with his own ranch. But can Lawson protect Alana, and convince her he's the one?
Not bad for a novella (right about 100 pages) proper beats and evil ex and all that. Nothing like super-good, but it's quite good. 4/5
