GRR Reviews His Christmas Cowgirl by Alissa Callen
Peta rushed back home from Europe when her ranch foreman was thrown and broke his hip. She was surprised to find Garrett Ross as the new temp foreman of her family Montana Ranch. She tried to order him off, but he's determined to stay until his friend is back on his feet as he had promised. The two clashed immediately. He thought she's a flight-y city girl who had no business running a ranch (she's actually more comfy in jeans and boots), and she thought he's a high-handed pompous ass who can't hold a steady job (he's actually a ranch owner, even bigger than hers). As they come to learn about each other, they started to develop feelings for each other as well...
Nice opposites attract combined with a "billionaire in disguise", cowboy-style. A lot of characters from prior books in the series makes their appearance as well. If you read previous books in the series, you'll get a bigger kick out of this one.

GRR Reviews Her Big Sky Cowboy (Wildflower Ranch B by Alissa Callen
Her Big Sky Cowboy is an opposites attract tale where two unlikely people unite as a couple for love of a child.
Zane was brought up by a horrible father and jilted by a horrible woman, but he'll move heaven and earth to care for his 5-year old son Finn, whom he didn't even know until recently. ... Finn was withdrawn after his mother's death and had speech impairments, and Zane reluctantly hired Trinity Redfern, speech therapist to help his son. Trinity Redfern knew her perfect match is out there... and he'd be NOTHING like the reclusive rancher Zane Nash. But their love for Finn united them... but it's just a temporary assignment, right?
I feel some heat, but nothing extraordinary. The push-pull is good, but nothing really outstanding that I can detect.
Category: Contemporary / Western
Primary Plot: Speech therapist hired to help a kid fell for the reclusive cowboy father, but it is merely a fling?
Tropes: sudden family, evil parents, jilted, doctor/patient, opposites attract
Overall Rating: 3/5
