GRR Review: Wooed by You by Sophia Knightly

Wooed by You is basically a tale of single mom rejecting advance by the perfect suitor except for his dangerous profession: being a cop. There was minimal suspense, it's basically the FMC doing the "hard-to-get" routine over and over.

Single mom Isabel Garcia was still mourning her husband's death and betrayal when she discovered he was involved in illegal business of drug running in Florida, and found herself drawn to the alpha male detective Linc Heller, who has every intention to romance her. Isabel keep holding herself back because she can't deal with another husband that "departed", even though she knew that Linc would be the ideal husband and father to her little girl...

There was some extra plot elements like the family dealing with the fruit farm and the weather and Isabel's bad blind date, and of course the extended Cuban-American family of Isabel, but those are in the periphery. Overall, the heat between the characters are there, but the complications are, at best, "meh".
