GRR Review: Wrapped in You by Kate Perry

Wrapped In You is a short novel (about 150 pages) about a bit of... Christmas magic, and Kate Perry has the gift of writing warm and fuzzy descriptions about the emotions and circumstances of her characters, even if the plot was a bit on the... simple side.
Trudy Hawke, who normally lived in London, was ordered by her boss to take a vacation... in San Francisco. Being in a "bah humbug" mood, she was hoping to stay in the hotel room and ruminate in gin when she was ordered to perform a holiday bucket list to prove she was out and about and enjoying the Holidays, and there she ran into Mason, a tech firm boss in San Francisco, who needed a holiday party date, and they agree to help each other, and sparks fly even without a kiss under the mistletoe. But Trudy was not about to start enjoying the holidays yet... but can she enjoy Mason?

I enjoy the shorter tale, which moved along quite nicely, with a lot of San Francisco charm. The bits of travel about town and nearby suburbs are nice too, esp. the bits of mischief as Mason help her with her bucket list. All in all, a charming novella.
