GRR Review Snowed In with the Billionaire by Lila Monroe

Snowed In With the Billionaire started with a meet-cute, carried through with the seduction through forced intimacy (snowed in!) progressed through the darkest hour and to grand gesture with high speed for a quick yet satisfying read that ticked all the right check marks.

Paige Bartlett is the super party planner that was there to coordinate Ace Carmichael's uber party at his Aspen Colorado mansion, who's at her heart, the "good girl" that never strays over the line. Ace, on the other hand, was a retired rock star now a composer and songwriter and a bit of talent scout that made a boatload of money and invited who's who in the music industry. When a snowstorm kept snowed in and no guests for a couple days, Paige was finally overcome by Ace's charm (including a dunk in the outdoor jacuzzi... fully clothed!) but when the guests finally arrived, is there any chance between this unlikely couple?

Paige is detail-oriented (read: micro-managing), Ace is "details will sort themselves out". Paige is young and this was her first big job. Ace is older, quite a bit older, and already successful. Paige was proper, well-mannered, eager to prove herself, Ace was loose, spontaneously creative, and already established. But it's clear that from their initial meet-cute there is some chemistry there, and the darkest hour was quite appropriate. And the grand gesture, while not as grand as it can be, was very appropriate indeed.

For a holiday read it's hard to go wrong with this quick fling to more story.
