GRR Review Tell Me a Story: Episode One (The Story by Tamara Lush

Tell Me A Story is a short novel between Emma, an author, and bookstore owner falling in love with Caleb, a rich real estate mogul, who did not realize he holds Emma's future.

Emma met Caleb at an innovative event where patrons can have the author read his/her book to the patron with a promise of monetary pledges (half to the author, half to charity) while enjoying some cocktails. Soon both just fell head over heels for each other and share their lives, but not all of it. Emma, for example, failed to share that someone had bought the building out from under her bookstore, rumors are it will be torn down and replaced with a condo. Imagine her feeling of betrayal when it was revealed that Caleb's company had been the one that bought the building...

The grand gesture was done very well, if a bit simple, and the make-up sex is terrific if a bit rough. There are additional episodes of the story between Emma and Caleb, where they get to take their relationship further, by moving a few years down the road, but this book is perfectly fine by itself, no cliffhanger, no cheating.  There may be four more "episodes" to this, but this chapter is perfectly fine by itself.
