GRR Reviews Just One Kiss by Amelia Whitmore

Just One Kiss, a romance between Brayden and Annie, managed to confront the issue of fat-shaming and bullying without getting too preachy.

Annie was a big-boned girl and her family never lets her forget it, even at home. At school mean girls recruit her crush to humiliate her in front of entire class in cafeteria leading her to vow never to fall in love again, and to treat ANY interest in her as prelude to humiliation and thus must be rejected. Finally going off to college, she met Brayden, who was interested, and he managed to teach her to see a facet of her beauty that may finally free her to fall in love. But can jealousy and other problems destroy that budding relationship?

The romance is sweet, but the darkest hour feels pretty... ho-hum after confronting such a big issue, as it's just plain old jealousy, once from his side, and once from her side, resulting in "I need time to think it over". Really? That's it? Eh. Still, it's not that bad.
