GRR Reviews A Marine's Second Chance by Marissa Dobson

Short novella of only about 70 pages, A Marine's Second Chance is just that... a sweet story about a marine that almost lost his wife due to his own apathy.

Wyoming Dorset married a marine, but Jeffrey, the man she married for 5 years, was not the man that stood before her today... He was... hollow, and lost his spark of love. And now he's going away for another deployment... But this time, he will go knowing that she's pregnant... Will Jeffrey get a second chance for her love? When he's back in six months, what will happen to their marriage? She will wait around, but which Jeffrey will she be getting back?

The book is mainly from the wife's perspective on how she reacted to both her husband's... apathy, then to the news that she's pregnant, and how that seem to finally ignite some changes in Jeffrey, even as she remembered how her family reacted to Jeffrey, and how they will react to the changes. This is a cozy story, with minimal conflict and not even a darkest hour, but just the sweet ever after.
