GRR Reviews Colorado Wrangler (Peakview Series Boo by Jill Haymaker

Colorado Wrangler is about romance between an older wounded bachelor and a single mother, and learning to accept each other despite prior wounds.

Melanie Gentry brought her daughter to town to find a father she never knew, and made a home for the family, and did not feel a need to add a man to her life, from past experience. Hank Dalton left his past behind and became the head wrangler of Peaktop Ranch. He worked hard and preferred to be alone, until his encounter with Melanie made him reconsider that decision. But as Melanie added a foster daughter and a rescue dog to her family, Hank got a serious case of inadequacy and retreated. Can both of them realize being together is better than being alone?

The push pull is interesting, but the guy seems to be seriously lacking in self-esteem if he considered Melanie to not need him just because she added a 2nd daughter and a rescue dog. Still, it's a fine story about life and how to live it.
