GRR Reviews Play Maker (Players Book 3) by Katie McCoy

Play Maker is about a girl who's NOT throwing herself at a manwhore, and a manwhore who's fascinated by her. But there's a kind heart under that manwhore exterior... Looks aren't everything.

He is James "The Playmaker" Martin, international soccer sensation, and a total manwhore... at least by reputation, and now he's in America, and ready to try scoring (a date) on this side of the pond. She is Nicole Grant, a busy bartender with an autistic brother, leaving her no time to date except occasional girls' night out with her BFF, and the occasional fling... For she has time for hot sex... and nothing else. They met, and their chemistry is explosive, and he loved the way she was NOT throwing herself at his feet... and keeping her distance. She loved the guy's good manners and good heart (for he was willing to indulge her brother's fascination with Dr. Who). Is there a future between these two?

There was a darkest hour and a grand gesture that saved the day where the MMC declared his intentions loud and clear, through a speech of all things. Good execution about the guy being nice to her whole family and the girl shouldn't have worried.
