GRR Reviews The Billionaire's Toys: Book One: The Room by Brooke Ravenwood

The Billionaire's Toys Book 1 is NOT a complete book, but rather 1/3 of a book with enough of a cliffhanger hoping to tease you into buying the other two volumes. It has the stereotypical kinky billionaire meets young ingenue trope plot with nothing really new or innovative plot or characters.

Jennifer wanted to design lingerie, but her job as an apprentice is pretty much dead-end. She met rich guy Jack Montgomery who liked her vision and will bankroll her, but also seduce her into playing kinky BDSM game with him. If Jennifer doesn't want to be pushed around, will her dreams end? Does she enjoy getting pushed around?

As I said, there's not much character or plot here, despite 100 pages of words. Cinderella/Pretty woman plot with a dose of kink is just way too trope. Cliffhanger setup for part 2 didn't help either.
